Levi’s is elevating denim with the launch of its new line, Blue Tab. Branded as a more sophisticated line from the brand, that includes more upscale and dressed-up statement denim classics, Blue Tab takes the Canadiana tuxedo to new height. Different from Levi’s Orange Tab line which caters to a more youthful and experimental market, Blue Tab is considered to be the more polished older sibling.
Entering into its new era, Blue Tab has introduced a new set of silhouettes for denim jeans that seem to revamp Levi’s classics. For instance, the Marker Loose jean seems to take inspiration from the 511 and 501. Additional items include the Marc Ruth Jacket, the classic fishtail parka as well as Blue Tab Type I Jacket alongside chambray work jackets and heavyweight t-shirts. Every piece is reimagined with elevated material that combines modern fabrics with effortless, everyday style.
Levi’s continues to lean into its authentic workwear aesthetic with the Blue Tab, bringing iconic denim staples to the forefront beyond what is expected. With Blue Tab, Levi’s is able to be more experimentative with various textiles such as chambray, selvage denim and napped denim, adding a notion of everyday elegance and sophistication to an otherwise casual sense of style.
Levi’s Blue Tab is slated to launch on January 31.
