Natasha Zinko has unveiled a playful follow-up to her Spring 2025 collection. The Ukranian designer continues to place contemporary beauty standards under a microscope, examining the perfection-chasing culture of aesthetic surgery.
Models are seen all wrapped up and not just due to the autumn weather. The collection sees layering as a main part of the styling. Dressed in loose-fitting silhouettes that still maintain Zinko’s signature apocalyptic energy, the collection is all about the “after-care look” one wears to disguise themselves pre- and post-cosmetic surgery. Zinko’s collection is a commentary on society’s need to make stealth trips to the beauty clinic for aesthetic adjustments, yet the demand for perfection that can only be obtained by visiting such clinics. With models wrapped from head to toe, draped in oversized attires saw the pre-fall ladies wear loose, but comfortable silhouettes that allow movement with ease after minor treatments. Models are seen wearing silk scarves over their eyes, though garments are quite modest, covering as much of the body as possible.
Box-cut looks are seen in oversized blazers that seem to merge the aesthetic of a lab coat with a hospital gown. Taking further inspiration from the motifs of a doctor’s clinic, long scarves featuring glove-like fingers from the edges and front pockets on cotton shirts. Other pieces include ultra-wide leg denim jeans, relaxed-fit trousers, patchwork skirts and dresses and business-like blazers for a quick dash to the clinic in the work day. Zinko also brought back her signature boxer brief underpants worn on famous stars like Charli XCX and BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim in the past.
