Connor Cruise has been flying under the radar, but his latest update proves he’s been making the most of the new year.
The son of Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman has provided fans with a rare glimpse into his life as he rings in 2025. The 29-year-old shared a snapshot on his Instagram Story on Tuesday, January 7 of his recent golf outing at Lost City Golf Course in Sun City, South Africa, where he celebrated the start of the year.
The course proved to be a scenic one, as Connor also encountered some local wildlife, including a crocodile lounging by the water at the 13th hole and two antelopes locked in a playful antler battle near a sand trap. He captioned the moment, “Double bogey alert!”
Connor is no stranger to the game either. In June of last year, he was spotted wearing a cap from the Pelican Golf Club during a visit to London to see his father, Tom. Later, he played at a Florida course in December, further showcasing his love for the sport.
The couple’s only son is quite the outdoorsman. His Instagram photos reveal him enjoying trips on the open water, where he often catches game fish. In 2022, he donated a 105-pound grouper to a local food bank, noting in an Instagram post, “I know it was tough to fit that in the truck, but glad the fish was able to go and help those in need of it!”
Connor, along with his sister Isabella, 32, tends to stay largely out of the public eye. However, he made a rare appearance in June 2024 when he was seen with Tom in London, where they were photographed boarding a helicopter.
Connor and Isabella were both adopted by Tom and Nicole. The couple first adopted Isabella in 1992 and later welcomed Connor into their family in 1995, shortly marrying after. The pair’s marriage ended in 2001, and both went on to remarry. Tom went on to marry Katie Holmes in 2006, and they share a daughter, Suri,18. Suri has seemingly dropped Tom’s last name and is reportedly estranged from her father. Nicole, on the other hand, went on to marry country singer Keith Urban in the same year, and together, they have two daughters, Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13.
