According to Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos should not take up photography any time soon.
On Monday’s Live with Kelly and Mark, the co-hosts explained that they had recently taken a family vacation, and that EP Michael Gelman asked Ripa this morning if she had any pictures she wanted to share from the trip. Instead, she told Gelman that they should “go get Mark’s phone.”
“Because as I recall, about six days ago, Mark took a photo of me and I would like to see it. Because, you know, there are never photos of me on vacation,” she noted. “When I pass away, not to be macabre, but when I pass away, the only photos that will prove that I exist are paparazzi photos. So thank you, paparazzi.”
Eventually, Ripa told viewers that she took Consuelos’ phone and found the photo, clarifying that she “did not wash [her] hair” and “did not wear make-up” for two weeks. While she noted that she dressed up for a costume party on New Year’s Eve, she quipped, “There’s no photographic evidence of that or I would share it with you.”
“But Mark took a photo of me, and I thank you for this,” she teased, as she proceeded to share an awkward picture of her silhouette in front of the sunset on the beach.
Though Consuelos jokingly attempted to defend the picture by highlighting the “beautiful sunset” in the background, Ripa added, “You know when they show Bigfoot? You know what I mean? That’s like Littlefoot. We found Bigfoot’s offspring, Littlefoot.”
Consuelos insisted that he “took a few other photos” of Ripa, as another picture of her waving toward the sun appeared on-screen.
“Give me the next one,” he continued. “Do we have another one?”
Ripa replied, “No, that’s it. Here they are!”
Consuelos claimed, “I knew you did that, so I added a few other pretty photos of you.”
Ripa teased, “You added the other photo. Me waving.”
Nonetheless, Consuelos said he would show the others when they went to commercial.
