Hugh Jackman is sticking by Sutton Foster’s side amid rumors they had an affair before calling it quits from their respective spouses.
The “X-Men” star was photographed supporting the actress at her “Once Upon a Mattress” production hosted at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday, per photos obtained by the gossip blog Deuxmoi.
Jackman beamed while sitting next to Hollywood icon Carol Burnett, who played Foster’s character, Princess Winnifred, in the 1959 original play.
The actor held up his phone to take a picture of the “Annie” star, 91, as she received a “massive applause” from the audience during the show’s intermission, an insider told Deuxmoi.
Jackman, 56, didn’t shy away from showing his support for Sutton, 49, after Page Six learned their spark ignited when they starred together in the Broadway production of “The Music Man” from December 2021 to January 2023.
Shortly after the show ended, the “Logan” star and his ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, revealed their separation after 27 years of marriage that September.
At the time, a Broadway insider told Page Six that the couple’s breakup was a “long time coming” after the Australian actress was notably absent from “The Music Man” rehearsals.
Foster, meanwhile, filed to divorce her second husband, Ted Griffin, in October 2024 after a decade of marriage, Page Six exclusively revealed.
That same month, sources told Page Six that Jackman and Foster were officially an item.
“They are 100 percent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together,” an insider told us.
We were also told that the “Greatest Showman” star and the “Younger” actress are “in love” but were keeping their romance under wraps.
“They spend all of their free time together,” a source said. “They are a regular couple, they are just in private.”
Amid news of their romance, a friend of Furness publicly spoke out about the affair rumors between Jackman and Foster, saying they were “on point.”
The couple hasn’t spoken out about their relationship and they’ve reportedly enjoyed their private romance so they can hopefully “grow naturally” together.
According to Us Weekly, the actors spend a lot of time walking around Central Park and eating in restaurants around New York City.
