The Nigo-led Parisian label Kenzo has unveiled its celebratory Lunar New Year collection, a solide range of accessories and apparel including subtly luxe basics and artful graphics blendingsSnake motifs with the brand’s icons.
Offered for both men and women, the collection includes t-shirts, knitted sweaters and cardigans, sweatshirts, joggers, jewelry and a scarf. The most impressive design comes from an embroidered sweatshirt in traditional Japanese style. The central image depicts an entangled tiger and snake framed by “Kenzo Paris” in golden threads.
Elsewhere, the graphics focus in on a snake shaped like the brand’s signature Boke flower. The image is displayed beautifully on a duo-tone cardigan made of red and white yarns, as well as a red wool’s hemstitch sweater with golden beads. Serving as the central icon of the collection, the flower-shaped snake also forms the golden charms found on the jewelry.
Finally, the collection is punctuated by a line of black and red basics bearing a singular golden Boke patch and an embroidered tonal Kenzo logo. Standing apart from minimal-leaning portion of the line, a red collarless cardigan with golden trims on the cuffs and waistband captures the essence of the festivity’s early roots in China.
The Kenzo Lunar New Year 2025 collection is available now on the brand’s web store and select boutiques.
