The Cleveland Browns are playing the Baltimore Ravens in their final game of the season, but they will have to finish the showdown without defensive lineman Michael Hall Jr.

Hall had to be carted off the field after suffering what appeared to be a scary leg injury. He was seen holding up a Ravens player when his lower leg was hit in a very awkward way.
Hall was on the ground for a very long time, until the cart came out to take him back to the locker room. He appeared to be clutching at his leg following the hit and was seen grimacing through his face mask.
Once the cart came out, Hall was helped onto it. Thankfully, he did raise his arm to show that he was doing fine. He will now undergo tests to determine the extent of the injury, but it is never a good sign to have to be carted off the field.
The Browns are already struggling against the Ravens, as the team is currently up 21-3, at the time of this writing. Now, they will have to play the rest of the game without one of their young defensive linemen.
Hall is in his rookie season and has secured 12 total tackles and one sack through seven games.
Hall was drafted by the Browns in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He was selected No. 54 overall out of Ohio State. While with the Buckeyes, he secured 45 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and six sacks.
Hall’s most successful season came in 2022 when he secured 19 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and four sacks. The young lineman worked his way into a starting position on the right side of the line.
Now, he may be out for quite some time should the tests reveal he suffered something significant. The hope is that he suffered something that wouldn’t be a torn ACL.

If Hall suffered something like a torn ACL injury, he is likely going to have to miss the rest of the 2025 season as well. A torn ACL typically takes around a year to recover from, but that depends on the person. The good news is that he is young and could bounce back.
This is just speculation, as the extent of Hall’s injury has not been made known just yet. For more updates on Hall, the Ravens, and the NFL, head to Newsweek Sports.
