Drake is gearing up for his “Anita Max Wynn” tour next year, returning to Australia and New Zealand for the first time since 2017. Ahead of his tour down under, The Boy has commissioned a new chain from famed celebrity jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills to commemorate the occasion.
Taking to Instagram to reveal a closer look, Jason of Beverly Hills reveals his latest work for the 6God, bringing the “Anita Max Wynn” tour mascot to life. Constructed out of three kilograms of gold and over 250 carats of flawless diamond, the jewelry designer shares what it was like to create this new chain for his long-time friend and collaborator, “Having done a number of Owl pieces for Drake, I was excited to work with him on a pendant of his alter ego. Just as the cartoon holds more meaning than meets the eye, so does the pendant. The back features all the dates of his Australian tour with a secret compartment revealing the Toronto skyline.”
The back graphic sees the a geographical map of Australia and New Zealand, featuring all the cities and stadiums Drake is hitting for the Anita Maxx Wynn tour. When the back opens up, the iconic skyline of Drake’s home is seen dazzling in full detail, making out key icons like the CN Tower and the Rogers Centre. The pendant is hung on a colorful chain of diamonds to round out the design.
