After months of speculation, Summer House star Paige DeSorbo revealed her split from longtime boyfriend Craig Conover. However, the Giggly Squad podcast host insists those breakup rumors “were not a real thing.”
“Craig and I have decided to no longer be together,” the 32-year-old reality star announced during her latest episode of her podcast on December 30, per Page Six. “I love him, I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing. I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”
According to DeSorbo, the Southern Charm star was the “best boyfriend” she ever had. Per Page Six, the pair first began dating in 2021 and quickly became a popular pairing among Bravo network viewers. Earlier this month, Us Weekly named them the “best Bravo couple of 2024” shortly after Conover denied breakup rumors in an interview with E! News published on December 9.

Though DeSorbo didn’t reveal a specific reason behind the split, Conover recently claimed their separate business ventures in New York City and South Carolina were not causing issues in their relationship—even teasing a potential future engagement. “I don’t have a ring,” Conover told E! News. “I would like to one day.” Of their time spent apart, he added, “I just don’t wanna cut off everything that we’re both doing. We’re on these parallel paths and it’s really exciting. I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes.”
In that same vein, DeSorbo says she still has “so much love and respect for Craig” in the wake of their split, though the breakup has been “very sad” and “awkward” to process. “He’s definitely the best boyfriend I’ve ever had, like, I can truly say that,” she said, per Page Six. “He was a great boyfriend, and he did everything correct, and he never made me feel insecure or anything like that, so it almost is harder when no one’s done anything to be mad about, and that’s hard.”
The upcoming season of Summer House is scheduled to premiere on Bravo in February 2025. Conover and DeSorbo have both denied saving their split for the cameras. “No one can tell me what to do,” she said on her podcast, referring to Bravo producers. “The network has power, but they don’t have that much power. So, that was not a real thing. Rumors of us breaking up months ago again, also, not a real thing.”
Ultimately, Paige DeSorbo said ending their relationship was “the right decision” for both Bravolebrities. “I think he is one of the best people I’ve met in my entire life,” she said. “I will remain the biggest fan for him and want the best for him, and he truly will get the best, because he is the best.”
Season 9 of Summer House will premiere on Bravo on February 12, 2025 at 9 pm EST.
