Matthew McConaughey is one proud papa.
The actor honored his youngest son Livingston’s 12th birthday with a touching Instagram tribute Saturday.
“at a dozen, my son and teammate,” he wrote. “To many more wins in life. with love, Papa.”
In the sweet snaps, McConaughey, 55, and the preteen stood on the field at a University of Texas football game with their backs to the camera.
Livingston wore an orange shirt and shorts with a sweatshirt tied around his waist during the November outing, while his dad rocked a button-up shirt, jeans and a cowboy hat.
The Golden Globe winner, notably, keeps his and wife Camila Alves‘ children primarily out of the spotlight.
The couple, who tied the knot in June 2012, are also the parents of son Levi, 16, and daughter Vida, 14.
In April, the duo made headlines for a rare red carpet appearance with all three of their kids at an event for McConaughey’s nonprofit.
Vida stunned in a pink dress, while her brothers matched in suits.
Two months later, Vida stepped out again with Alves, 41, at a Hermès Birkin runway show in coordinating red ensembles.
The model and the “Dallas Buyers Club” star have chosen to keep their little ones off social media until age 15 since it’s like “sending your kid off with a bunch of strangers into the world.”
During a September 2023 “Today” show appearance, McConaughey detailed the advice he gave Levi before letting the teen join Instagram.
“The main thing was this: go live your life, Levi and if you’re doing something you think is worth sharing, then share it,” he explained. “Don’t wake up every morning thinking, ‘What can I do that will be a good share?’”
The Oscar winner gave more words of wisdom when Levi, who made his acting debut this year in “Way of the Warrior Kid,” turned 16 in July.
“Me and your mom hope we’ve done as good of a job as we can. You’re not gonna really have us as a safety net out there in the wonderful, wild world forever,” he wrote. “Be aware of your surroundings. Be yourself. Know when to say yes, know when to say no, know when to say maybe.”
