Only one day after ruling out running back Gus Edwards, the Los Angeles Chargers are gaining J.K. Dobbins back in the backfield after having played without his services for four weeks.
The top running back on Los Angeles’ depth chart went down to an MCL injury in Week 12 and is officially being activated from injured reserve, as per Tom Pelissero.
Dobbins will slide back into leading the backfield for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots as the Chargers jockey for a wild-card spot in the AFC playoff picture.
“The #Chargers are activating RB J.K. Dobbins from IR and he’ll make his return Saturday against the #Patriots, sources tell me and @RapSheet,” Pelissero said on X.
