Blizzard just celebrated the 30th anniversary of Warcraft, its blockbuster RTS franchise by releasing Warcraft 1 and 2 remastered, but the good news doesn’t stop there. Plenty of updates are coming to all Blizzard games set in the fantasy world, and we now have concrete roadmaps for both WoW Classic and The War Within.
World of Warcraft Classic 2025 Roadmap
WoW Classic is a relatively recent addition to the franchise, retaining the core aspects and charm of the original game. That doesn’t mean it’s not going to get updated, as its roadmap reveals. Blizzard is releasing the WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Edition on November 21, 2024, with an updated level cap of 60, a new raid dungeon, and many quality-of-life features.

Besides the regular WoW Classic, there are many different seasonal server types in the game, each with its own roadmap and content updates coming next year. That includes Cataclysm Classic, Mists of Panaria Classic, Season of Discovery, and the upcoming Burning Crusade Classic.
