Livvy Dunne brought boyfriend Paul Skenes home to New Jersey for what appears to be the first time, with adorable puppy Roux in tow.
The social media star took to Snapchat Friday, December 20 and 21 to share festive pics in front of a glittering Christmas tree before heading to New York City for a date night at one of Dunne’s favorite hot spots, Carbone.
In Belmar at the Jersey Shore, 22-year-old Dunne — who grew up in Hillsdale, NJ — shared a photo of graduation flowers and snaps of the nautical-themed beach house she just bought her mother, Katherine Dunne, as a birthday present in November. Dunne and Skenes, who celebrated Thanksgiving with their respective families, met during college at Louisiana State University and started dating in spring of last year.
After a night at the beach house, the couple got bundled up, including a furry bucket hat that Skenes, 22, had been sporting in an earlier photo, to head into the city for a romantic date night in the Big Apple. After checking into their hotel, the gymnastics star slipped into a skin-tight black dress, high black boots and an oversized headband.
Friday night at Carbone, a Greenwich Village celeb magnet, the couple of more than a year ordered a feast — including an assortment of antipasti followed by an entrée, rigatoni a la vodka, and a decadent tortellini dish smothered in fresh truffles. Dunne quipped in her caption, “life is worth living.”
The couple are in New Jersey and NYC for some R&R after a whirlwind trip to Louisiana where Skenes, a star pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates, watched the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model compete in the final gymnastics meet of her college career and graduate from LSU. The social media star will now stay on for a fifth year, however, to help her beloved Tigers defend their national championship title — the team’s first ever — as a grad student.
