Not only did Ayahuasca give Shep Rose a spiritual awakening, but it also seems to have slowed down his aging. On Thursday night’s (Dec. 19) episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen paused the flow of his show to ask the Southern Charm star if he had any work done to his face.
Cohen was in the middle of introducing his next segment when he noticed Rose’s wrinkle-free forehead. “Did you get Botox in your forehead?” he asked, to which Rose answered, “No.”
The talk show host wasn’t buying it, but Rose insisted, “I’ve never done anything to myself!”
Cohen, still unsure, sternly asked, “Shep, did you get Botox in your forehead? Answer me right now!”
“No,” the reality star repeated, before crinkling his forehead to show off his lines as proof that he’s au naturel.
Newbie Southern Charm star Molly O’Connell even backed Rose up, stating that he’s “not lying about it.”
After blacking out at BravoCon 2023, Rose embarked on a spiritual journey to better himself. While his journey did not include any type of cosmetic procedures, he did spend a week at the Rythmia Ayahuasca retreat in Costa Rica last January, which helped him untangle “a lot of webs” he had within himself, he told People.
Leva Bonaparte, his Southern Charm co-star, recently told DECIDER she noticed a change within Rose this season.
“I was really proud of Shep this year. He’s really grown up,” Bonaparte said. “I was telling my husband this the other day, like, ‘You know, I really respect Shep. He really grew into a real gentleman this year.’”
“He owns his emotions. He was doing very un-Shep-like things, like a grown man,” she continued. “Not that he wasn’t a grown man, but he had a lot of growth this year.”
As Rose said on WWHL, “Vulnerability is the new masculinity.” Now let’s just hope it sticks!
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
