Nobody likes to play a healer… in most games. Marvel Rivals is different, though, with its supportive class – known in-game as Strategists – being some of the most interesting healers, buffers, and sometimes even attackers in the game. Unlike some other games in the hero genre, the supportive Strategist class is super diverse and, importantly, super fun classes in Marvel Rivals.
But which Strategist is the best? Well, there’s no one definitive answer, but there are a few top-tier Marvel Rivals Strategists that you should definitely check out.

Cloak and Dagger
Cloak and Dagger are fantastic, with Dagger in particular being one of the best characters in the game. She’s got multiple skills that heal up allies – like the Dagger Storm which creates a health recovery that can heal your entire team – as well as plenty of ways to deal decent damage.
Cloak, on the other hand, is more of a supportive character, throwing out debuffs that can obscure enemy damage and more, as well as a pretty decent primary attack for whittling down enemy HP. Switching between the two characters doesn’t have a cooldown, so you can easily switch up your play style to make the most of any situation.
Luna Snow
Luna Snow is a fantastic all-arounder. She can heal and deal damage with the same attack, heal allies while helping somebody else by marking them, and freeze enemies on the spot using chunks of ice. She’s a fast mover, too, switching to a skating pose after just a few moments of movement, and a passive that offers infinite ammo. It can be a bit difficult to balance in a match, with the second ally only getting a fraction of the healing with her healing skill, but if you’re paying attention to the battlefield you should get by just fine.
Jeff the Land Shark
Jeff – aside from being adorable – is a fantastic Strategist, both because he’s easy to learn and has two fantastic healing abilities available to him. Jeff’s first healing ability comes in the form of his primary attack, which fires forth a jetstream of healing water, and his skill has him spitting up healing bubbles that enemies can touch to heal up. You’ll need a bit of planning to make sure your bubbles are in the right spot for your allies, but it’s worth it for the shark.
Mantis
Mantis is an incredible supportive character — if you can make sense of her kit and put it to good use. Mantis’ kit has her generating life orbs to buff herself and her allies, or spend them and heal up her party members over time. She’s not the most proficient healer in the game, but between her heals and her buffs, and a strong primary attack that rivals some Duelists when buffed, she’s a very versatile support. Oh, did I mention she’s also got a sleep spore grenade? The range is a little short, but hey, one more tool in the chest.
Adam Warlock
Adam Warlock is probably the most popular Strategist in Marvel Rivals right now, and it’s easy to see why. Adam has a couple of healing skills, one of which heals multiple nearby allies for a pretty decent amount, with two charges before going on cooldown. The second one is much more interesting, creating a bond between Adam and all nearby allies, both healing them and splitting incoming damage across them. His secret weapon, though, is his ultimate skill, which can revive enemies — the only character in the game capable of doing so.
