Loki actor Jack Veal is sharing some hopeful news after revealing he was “homeless at 17.”
The Marvel Studios star went viral after he shared his story on social media, saying he was living in a trailer in London, running away from a household where he suffered from physical and emotional abuse.
“Hi. I’m a famous actor, I’m 17, and I’m homeless,” Veal said in one of his videos. “I haven’t mentioned much about what’s been going on in my life, but I think it’s time to reveal the truth. Without delving too much into the details, I was abused at home. It was physical violence, emotional abuse and etcetera.”
Veal continued, “I didn’t have a very good upbringing. I’ve struggled with mental health. I have autism, ADHD, and am being screened for bipolar and psychosis.”

The actor noted in the video that he was not able to stay with his grandparents due to his grandfather being terminally ill, adding, “I have nowhere else to go. And I need help.”
Veal claimed he tried to get help from social services but was unable to and instead has been “sleeping in a trailer that has smashed-in windows” and “is unsafe, and is two hours away from my work.”
In the video post, Veal asked his followers to share the video to “spread the message of how the government are treating kids.”
After going viral, Veal shared a new video where he said he “just got a call from social services saying they want a meeting with me tomorrow to essentially get me into foster care and supporting accommodations.”
“I don’t know what you guys have done but it’s gotten out there and it’s really, really helped me,” an emotional Veal said. “They’re taking action now. They’re actually doing something. So God bless you all. Thank you so much. This is the first time they’ve ever considered me for accommodation.”
