Quick question. Has anyone confirmed that Lacey Chabert is actually human? Because she and Lindsay Lohan appeared on Watch What Happens Live and reprised their Mean Girls characters for a bit, and Chabert both looks and sounds exactly the same as she did in 2004.
The pair, who are both currently starring in Christmas rom-coms, went on WWHL on November 20, and they were tasked with recreating the lunch room scene in Mean Girls, with Andy Cohen standing in as Regina George. They were not forced to recite their lines from memory, but they seemed to barely need the cue cards they were given to perform the scene.

I, as well as everyone watching based on the comments section, was transported right back to 2004 as Lacey Chabert, as Gretchen Weiner, explained the rules of being a Plastic, which includes only wearing a ponytail one day a week. Cohen’s interpretation of Regina George may have been a lot hammier than Rachel McAdams, but Chabert and Lohan had basically the exact same inflection in their voices as in the original. Everyone stayed pretty professional until the last line, when Chabert exclaimed, “That’s just like, the rules of feminism!” At which point, all three burst out laughing.
If this is as close to a reboot of the original film as we get, I’m happy with it.
