So far, Taylor Swift has not been seen at Highmark Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Buffalo Bills on November 17.
While Swift has attended every Chiefs home game this NFL season, she hasn’t cheered on the Travis Kelce outside of Arrowhead Stadium since the 2024 Super Bowl. Still, fans wondered if she might make an exception for the Bills game, considering how close Buffalo is to Toronto, where she just played three Eras Tour concerts in a row.
Despite the manageable logistics, it seems Swift chose to take a break from football this week—and it may have nothing to do with her busy tour schedule. You may remember that Swift’s last Bills game marked her official introduction to Jason and Kylie Kelce. Yes, the one where Jason Kelce took his shirt off mid-playoff game.
Apparently the visit “was not a great experience” for even “the most famous of all the parties.” At least, according to a friend of the former Eagles player. And no, it wasn’t because of Jason’s game day antics.
During a recent appearance on the Up & Adams podcast, sportscaster Adam Lefkoe alleged the group did not receive the warmest welcome from Bills fans. “I have heard from people very close that it was not a great experience in Buffalo. It was not. For all parties involved. And I’m talking about the most famous of all the parties,” Lefkoe said, per Sports Illustrated. “I think that it kind of shocked the Kelce family and everyone related to the Kelce family the reception they got.”
Lefkoe continued, “I think they were kind of going in being like, ‘This is going to be an amazing game with good energy.’ And they got there and they experienced Bills Mafia in full form, in its complete ruthlessness.” He added, “And I think they left and went, ‘I don’t know if I want to experience that again.’”
Since that day, Jason and Kylie Kelce attended multiple Eras Tour performances without Travis Kelce, proving the group has only grown closer in the the past 10 months. Now, we’ll just have to wait and see if she joins the Kelce family at the Chiefs’ post-Thanksgiving game against the Las Vegas Raiders on November 29. Donna Kelce thinks Swift will be “kind of busy,” but she hasn’t missed a home game yet.
