Do Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger plan to bring their new baby into the family business? Because his name includes a not-so-subtle Kennedy nod. Pratt and Schwarzenegger welcomed their third child, a son, on November 8, and the couple announced on Instagram that they named him Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt.
The birth announcement didn’t include a photo of the newborn, but a graphic of a blue ribbon with the baby’s name in the middle. “We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt,” they wrote in the caption of their shared post. “Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris.”

In case you’d forgotten, Schwarzenegger is a member of America’s royal family, the Kennedys. Her mother, Maria Shriver, is the daughter of Eunice Kennedy, who was President John F. Kennedy’s sister. “Fitzgerald” is a middle name shared by both John F. as well as his son, JFK Jr., who died in 1999. (Both senior and junior Robert Kennedy have the middle name Francis.) It’s probably not a coincidence that Pratt and Schwarzenegger chose this auspicious middle name for their son.
Katherine’s father, lest we forget, is the actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are also parents to two other children, Lyla Maria, born in 2020, and Eloise Christina, born in 2022. Chris shares a son, Jack, with his ex-wife Anna Faris.
