Taylor Swift’s security guards may forget their manners once in a while, but they definitely don’t mess around when it comes to protecting the pop star.
Two separate incidents involving Swift’s security team have gone viral since the “Fortnight” singer arrived at Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos on November 10. In the first clip, Swift gently reminded a member of her team to say “please” after asking the press to “stay back” as she disembarked her golf cart. The second video is going viral for a much less wholesome reason.

She’s cheering on Travis Kelce in a much different look than usual.
In the second clip, two of Swift’s guards repeatedly motion and shout at unseen personnel to “stand up” as the pop star walks through the stadium. Swift, dressed in a tweed Versace skirt suit, appears to slow down until their request was respected while cameras click away in the background. One fan named Sofia begged for context on X.com, but seemed to have their own suspicions, writing, “I swear to god if it’s what I think it is…”
If you’re first thought was that Swift’s guards were trying to prevent photographers from taking upskirt photos (intentionally or otherwise), you’re on the same page as many women that viewed the video.
Across various social media platforms, this video sparked a conversation about a “disturbing” form of harassment that many women have faced throughout their lives. “It’s sad, as a woman, I understood immediately,” one fan replied to a TikTok post of the same clip.
“Since I was a little girl I’ve always been wearing shorts under skirts if I am wearing skirts…and it’s astonishing how many people in my life so far have asked me ‘why?’” one user responded to Sofia’s post on X.com. “Yeah well this is why.”
Let me make one thing abundantly clear: Women should be able to wear a skirt without fear of harassment and invasion of privacy. As Sofia replied, “Maybe men should learn how to not make women uncomfortable 24/7 idk!”
