Travelers at LaGuardia Airport were evacuated Saturday morning amid “police activity” that could lead to flight disruptions, according to reports and social media posts.
Would-be travelers were moved from the terminals to a parking garage at the complex early Saturday morning, video from PIX11’s Arrianee LeBeau showed.
The airport’s official X page confirmed police activity at Terminal B would likely disrupt flight plans — but did not say what sparked the chaos.
Passengers were then moved to the parking lot, they wrote on X.
“Well, this is not good, was right about to go through security at LaGuardia Terminal B when TSA stopped all screening, then told everyone to evacuate the terminal,” Roger Batson wrote.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the evacuation extends beyond Terminal B.
