EXCLUSIVE: NBCUniversal Formats guru Ana Langenberg is exiting after seven years.
The former Endemol Shine Group exec has been SVP of the international formats division of the U.S. major since September 2017, working across sales for the likes of Top Chef, Suits, That’s My Jam and, most recently, Monk to Disney+ Hotstar in India.
Deadline understands Langenberg is leaving her SVP, Format Sales & Productions role at the end of the year to spend more time with her family and the role will be reviewed in the meantime.

Langenberg added that it had “been such a pleasure working at NBCUniversal Formats and seeing our shows grow around the world.” “While I’m sad to leave my incredible team, I’ve decided it’s the right time for me to spend more time with my family. I’ll always be their champion, and I know they will continue to expand the business with passion and professionalism,” she added.
Prior to NBCUniversal Formats, Langenberg spent nearly two decades with Endemol Shine Group, working her way up from Sales Exec to COO of Creative Networks.

Langenberg’s exit is the latest in the international distribution world following the departures of Eccho Rights’ Adam Barth and Fremantle duo Angela Neillis and Maximilian Bolenius.
