We’ve all seen the faux freckles makeup trend (thank you Hailey Bieber), but Taylor Swift just upped the game with faux glitter freckles. Her mind!
Swift rocked the sparkly makeup at the Kansas City Chiefs game on October 7, where she was once again there to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. The pop star wore a plaid, off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood top and matching miniskirt, accessorized with platform knee-high boots and plenty of delicate gold jewelry—similar to her recent VMAs look. But, frankly, we’re still stuck on the glitter freckles.
The sparkles appear to be courtesy of the small skincare and makeup brand, Fazit, which makes faux freckle patches in a variety of colors and styles, including gold, silver, rose gold, and team colors. One of the brand’s founders, Aliett Butts, posted about the surprise endorsement on TikTok. “POV youre a small business female founder and @Taylor Swift is wearing your brand @Fazit glitter freckles,” she wrote in the caption, over a video of herself crying at the news.
I’m not sure what, if anything, Taylor Swift was trying to communicate to her fans by wearing the glitter freckles, or if this has anything to do with an upcoming album or re-release. What I do know is that the girlies have been influenced. Your move, Hailey Bieber.
