The highest-grossing animated movie of all time has finally made its way to Disney+.
Beginning today, September 25, all Disney+ subscribers can watch Inside Out 2 at no additional cost, and if you aren’t already a Disney+ subscriber, there’s an offer running for a limited time that’ll bring the subscription price down by 75%.
Since debuting in theaters on June 14, Inside Out 2 grossed $1.687 billion worldwide, making it not only the highest-grossing movie of 2024 so far (a spot it still holds even after the release of Deadpool & Wolverine), but also the highest-grossing animated film ever.
The sequel to 2015’s Inside Out picks up when Riley is 13, two years after the action of the first film. We once again catch up with the emotions inside of Riley’s head — Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger — but to their surprise, new emotions like Anxiety and Envy begin popping up and taking over their space. That’s just what being a teenager is like!
It currently holds a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes and received an “A” CinemaScore by moviegoers. DECIDER’s John Serba gave Inside Out 2 a Stream It in his review, stating “This is the best Pixar outing since Toy Story 4.”
