Melania Trump will sit down with Fox & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt for an interview to air on Thursday, the network announced.
This will be the former first lady’s first interview in more than two years, per Fox News. She will discuss her new book, Melania, as well as the presidential campaign and the assassination attempts on her husband’s life.
Fox Nation also will present an extended version of the interview.
Melania Trump has made few appearances as part of her husband’s presidential campaign. She appeared on the final night of the Republican National Convention but did not speak.
Lately she has been posting messages promoting her book, due to be published on Oct. 8. In a video message posted on Sunday, Trump recalled the 2020 protests following the killing of George Floyd, including one in which she and then-President Donald Trump were sent to a secure area of the White House.

“The loud knocking on my door sent a jolt through my body,” Trump said. “The Secret Service agent told me I need to move. Safety was paramount, not just for me, but for the president and all the other residents of the White House. The violent protests across the country had finally reached Pennsylvania Avenue.”
