Emhoff also will be in Los Angeles on Thursday for a fundraiser with hosts Patricia Gordon and Dan McLoon, Jason Haider, and Kirsten Hilleman and Greg Slamowitz, per an invite.
Emhoff has been on the campaign trail with his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris, since President Joe Biden stepped aside and Harris became the Democratic presidential nominee. He recently spoke at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, on a night with the theme of bringing “bold vision” to America’s future and a new generation of Democratic leadership.
During his speech he talked about he and Harris’ blended family and told the story of how he and Harris met and how she is a beloved stepmother to his son and daughter. “She’s always been there for our children, and I know she’ll always be there for yours too.
