Paul Skenes who? When it came time to enjoy a long weekend, it looks like Livvy Dunne said goodbye to her ball-playing boyfriend to stay focused on her girlfriends.
The Louisiana State University gymnast and social media personality posted on Instagram from a beachfront porch, where she appeared to be ringing in the end of summer with teammates Alexis Jeffrey and Haleigh Bryant.
The three friends, all of whom are entering their final year at LSU, wore big smiles and cute bikinis as they posed in front of the house’s ocean view. Dunne, 21, wore sunshine yellow, Bryant sported a blue paisley pattern, and Jeffrey kept it simple with a light brown swimsuit.
Though Dunne, Bryant and Jeffrey did not disclose their location, a photo that Bryant posted showed a large group of girls, mostly wearing LSU merch, on the steps of a beach house. Based on the smiling faces, it appears that some gymnastics team bonding was underway.
Jeffrey, who is from Montana, transferred from UCLA to LSU in 2022, where she has performed well in bars, beam, and floor. Bryant, a North Carolina native, has won several awards during her time at LSU, including the 2024 Honda Sport Award and the 2024 NCAA All-Around Championship. Both gymnasts posted stories that called Dunne by the nickname “Sweet Dundee,” and the trio appear to have a close friendship.
Dunne, who has achieved a massive social media following and become the highest-paid female athlete in the United States, has made it a priority that her fellow student athletes learn to make the most of their success. The Livvy Fund she created at LSU is specifically designated to help female LSU athletes “land endorsement deals and elevate their personal branding.” Perhaps some of that crucial wisdom will be passed on during the holiday weekend!
