Jonathan Nørmølle was served a delicious spoonful of karma when Ryan Serhant fired him in the Owning Manhattan Season 1 finale. But Chloe Tucker Caine, who also rose to fame on the reality series, is hoping the controversial real estate agent comes back for Season 2.
While it may be an unpopular opinion seeing as Nørmølle was considered the Season 1 villain, Tucker Caine had a perfectly good reason for wanting him back on the show â she wants to rip him a new one!
“They didn’t give me any screen time with Jonathan. And I was like, ‘Let me at him, let me at him,’” she told DECIDER following the Season 2 renewal news. “So I hope he’s back because I think that would be fun for me.”
Tucker Caine continued, “I don’t know how anyone else feels. Oh, my God, that’s so Chloe-coded to make it all about me. But, yeah, I don’t know, I hope so.”
Nørmølle initially found himself in hot water when he and Jessica Markowski put down Savannah Gowarty’s real estate prowess in a podcast that was recorded using Serhant’s studio. As a result, Nørmølle got reprimanded by Serhant, while Markowski was kicked out of Tucker Caine’s work event.
Before Gowarty decided to leave SERHANT, she was working with Tucker Caine and her team. Since the two women have remained pals, it’s not surprising that Tucker Caine wanted to lay into Nørmølle for the way he treated her friend.
“We talk all the time. We get coffee. I love her. I love my little Southern belle,” Tucker Caine said of the North Carolina native, who is “kicking ass” at her new brokerage.
Serhant, for his part, fired Nørmølle later in the season for costing him a major deal. But when we asked if he would ever work with Nørmølle again, the real estate mogul appeared open to second chances.
“I think everybody has the opportunity to change and you never know. You never know,” Serhant said. “I was on a soap opera for a while and they told me I could come back from the dead too.”
The first season of Owning Manhattan is currently streaming on Netflix.
