EXCLUSIVE: RuPaul’s Drag Race star Willam is to host a male stripper reality series for LGBTQ+ streamer OUTtv.
Willam’s Dark Room Duel will enter production in October and feature multi-talented male-strippers going head-to-head in a series of themed challenges and performances. The entertainer who makes it to the top of a bracket-based elimination system will win a prize package that includes the opportunity to open for Willam during one of their iconic live shows.
Judging alongside Willam, a former Nip/Tuck and A Star is Born actor who was on Drag Race in 2011/12, will be drag artist Meatball Queen (Dragula, Sloppy Seconds Podcast) and male entertainer Rhyheim Shabazz (2024 GayVN Performer of the Year).
Willam said: “I used to book and manage strippers back in the day, and still some of my best friends are strippers. Trust me, when it comes to taking off clothes I know what I’m talking about. Plus, I love making stuff with OUTtv.”
