Some impatient little rascals got a sneak peek of Sunday’s finale of House of the Dragon.
Quite a few scenes were reportedly leaked on TikTok, before making their way to X and Reddit. The TikTok account has since been removed but that didn’t stop around 30 minutes of footage from reaching hungry HOTD fans.
Deadline has reached out to HBO for comment.
Anticipation for the episode is strong, especially since Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) now has a few more bastard sons ready and able to ride dragons in her war against the greens. And will Prince Daemon (Matt Smith) finally come home after dreaming about his decomposing brother?
HBO is more than experienced in dealing with leaks, especially when it comes to its Game of Thrones franchise. In 2022, a copy of the first season HOTD finale leaked online. At the time, HBO said, “It appears to have originated from a distribution partner in the EMEA region. HBO is aggressively monitoring and pulling these copies from the internet. We’re disappointed that this unlawful action has disrupted the viewing experience for loyal fans of the show.”
And it became de rigueur on Game of Thrones for leaked scenes to show up on platforms like Amazon Prime Video in Germany, the website Openload, or Twitter.
