Andy Cohen kicked off his week on a feisty note. The Bravo icon, who is known to give a shady remark or two, fired back at a fan for asking an “annoying” question.
On this morning’s episode of Cohen’s Sirius XM radio show Andy Cohen Live, Kimberly from Atlanta, Georgia called in for Cohen’s advice on what she should order when she visits Pastis restaurant in New York City.
Kimberly explained that she and her mother were planning on coming to New York later this week to visit her father’s grave in Westchester County and hang out in the Big Apple.
“Are you calling to ask me what to do in New York City?” Cohen chimed in, noting that he “hates” when people do that.
Kimberly assured Cohen that she wasn’t going to ask that question, though she told him that she would be visiting a restaurant he frequents — and wanted to know what she should order besides the French onion soup.
“Oh, my God. Well, this could possibly be, Kimberly, as annoying as asking me what you should do in New York City. Because, now, is this call going to be interesting to all the other people listening?” Cohen snarked, to which Kimberly replied, “No. You’re absolutely right. It won’t.”
Despite being agitated by the question, Cohen suggested ordering the chicken paillard as it pairs nicely with the soup.
“Andy, I apologize. I’m sorry,” a shameful Kimberly said once she got her answer, to which Cohen responded, “All good. I’m just giving you shit, Kimberly … If you hadn’t predicated it that you were going to visit your father’s grave, I might’ve been a little more savage.”
Once they hung up the phone, Cohen sarcastically remarked, “Glad we were able to help Kimberly decide what to order when she has a meal in New York City.”
However, another listener called in to defend Kimberly.
“I love you and I think you can almost do no wrong. But I disagree,” Amber from Texas said. “I think your listeners do want to know what to order at Pastis. I love tips like that. I live in Texas but I love tips like that from everybody, especially people I respect.”
Cohen concluded that that “makes [him] happy.”
Andy Cohen Live airs every weekday at 10/9c on Sirius XM’s Radio Andy station.
