EXCLUSIVE: Two Daughters Entertainment, the animation production company behind the internationally recognized kids’ series Moley and upcoming family animated feature The Land of Sometimes, has signed with Zero Gravity Management.
Evan Anglin and Andriana Williams are set to run point for the client on behalf of Zero Gravity.
Since its founding in 2016 by Executive Chairman James Reatchlous, Two Daughters Entertainment has quickly established itself as a rising force in animation. Available for streaming on Peacock, their debut series Moley is currently airing globally in 30 languages and 160 countries. Telling the story of Moley, a charming, optimistic young mole who lives deep in a burrow under Windsor Castle, in the hustling, bustling city of MoleTown, the show features the vocal talents of Warwick Davis, Stanley Tucci and Gemma Arterton.
At present, Two Daughters Entertainment is actively expanding with original stories and newly acquired IP. Most recently, the company took to Cannes with The Land of Sometimes, the first of three new features in the works, which is being produced in partnership with Tony Nottage (Saving Santa, Moley) and his Nottage Productions.
Featuring the voices of Ewan McGregor, Helena Bonham Carter, Alisha Weir, and Jessica Henwick, among others, the film follows twins Alfie and Elise, who get more than they bargained for when the Wish Collector takes them to an island full of wonder, with ever-changing seasons. There, they face a mechanical foe, fantastical creatures and a truth that shines brighter than any wish: the power of family. Kaleidoscope Entertainment is handling international sales.
Said Zero Gravity Co-Founder and Partner Mark Williams of Two Daughters, “Their compelling narratives and high-quality 3D animation are crafted to offer something for everyone. We’ve been inspired by their people and their ambitions. We look forward to helping them achieve their goals.”
Added Two Daughters’ newly promoted CEO Simon Bobin, “Everyone here at the Two Daughters team is thrilled to be partnering with Zero Gravity. We have been so impressed by Mark [Williams], Andriana and Evan that it felt like the natural home for Zero Gravity to represent Two Daughters Entertainment in Hollywood. We can’t wait for them to get started on our exciting slate of Film & TV properties.”
