A man who was rescued from the bottom of a narrow, 40 foot pipe in Portland, Oregon said he has no clue how he got stuck there for hours, officials said.
Portland Fire & Rescue crews responded to a report of a person stuck in a hole after people in a nearby building heard a man screaming for help, KPTV reported.
When responders arrived at the scene they heard a man yelling from the bottom foot of a 40-foot-deep ventilation pipe from a nearby parking garage.
The pipe was only about a foot wide, officials said.
Crews were able to quickly free the man from the pipe.
The man told responders that he woke up in the hole and has no ideas how he wound up there, Portland Fire & Rescue said.
The man, who only suffered minor injuries, was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
