One of my favorite college memories was sitting around and catching up on all the HBO miniseries that I wasn’t able to watch growing up. Back then, of course, it was DVD box sets and Blockbuster rentals. Today, physical media is secondary to streaming, which is more convenient and certainly more space-saving — very essential for dorm rooms, unless somehow they’ve expanded in size since I went to university. (They haven’t.)
Max is partnering with UNiDAYS, a discount portal for students, to offer 12 months of Max with Ads for $4.99 per month (was $9.99). Notably, this 50% discount can be reapplied at the end of the 12-month mark, provided you can still verify you’re a college student. Those who also want to stream sports games (NBA, MLB, NHL, etc.) can purchase the B/R Sports add-on, though unfortunately there’s no specific discount offered for that.
It’s a great time to check out Max if you haven’t already. House of the Dragon is wrapping up its second season. Kite Man: Hell Yeah! premieres this week, and you can check out the character’s original debut in the animated dark comedy Harley Quinn… or skip the Kite Man of it all and enjoy the latest wild Harley Quinn show Suicide Squad Isekai. And of course, the service features hundreds of hours of modern classics and classic classics like Dune, Rick and Morty, The Last of Us, and Euphoria. There’s plenty to watch when you’re done with all the studying and homework you are definitely, totally focused on.
