Brad Pitt has returned to the track of the British Grand Prix to continue filming his movie all about Formula One.
The BBC reports that the Oscar winner has been in action again at the track in Northamptonshire, UK, wearing the racing suit of the fictional APX GP team featured in the movie, now titled F1.
Pitt also filmed there last year, before production was stymied by strikes, during the 2023 Grand Prix. This year’s will take place Sunday afternoon.
Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton is a co-producer on Pitt’s project, in which the latter will also star as veteran driver Sonny Hayes, returning to the track after a long absence.
Deadline reported the title of the movie Friday, following the official announcement by Apple Original Film. The teaser poster was also dropped. Warner Bros has the distribution deal for F1, and has already announced the pic’s release date of June 27, 2025, in North America and June 25, 2025 abroad.
Pitt plays a former driver who returns to Formula 1 alongside his teammate (played by Damson Idris) at APXGP, a fictional team on the grid. The movie is being shot during actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competes against the titans of the sport. The cast includes Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo.
