Imaginative bosses are the highlight of Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree, and you’ll find dozens of them scattered throughout the Shadow Realm of the Lands Between. But there are so many invaders, mini-bosses, optional bosses, and story bosses that it can be hard to find the one you’re looking for.
In this Shadow of the Erdtree guide, we’ll show you all the Elden Ring DLC bosses in the Shadow Realm and tell you how to find them.
Gravesite Plain bosses
Gravesite Plain is the first major area in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. It contains two major bosses, as well as several optional bosses wandering the open world and inside dungeons. Here’s what we’ve found so far.
Divine Beast Dancing Lion
The Divine Beast Dancing Lion is the first major boss — or Legend — you’ll fight in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.
You can find it at the top of Belurat, the castle on the western side of the Gravesite Plain.
The Divine Beast Dancing Lion is a giant puppet that prances around the battlefield with unpredictable movements, and swaps between different elemental types at will. You’ll get the Remembrance of the Dancing Lion and the Divine Beast Head when you kill it.
For help in defeating this boss, see our guide on how to beat Divine Beast Dancing Lion.
Blackgaol Knight
West of the Scorched Ruins in Gravesite Plain, you’ll find a sunken area that leads to a tomb: the Western Nameless Mausoleum. Head down the stairs and you’ll find a fog door. On the other side is the Blackgaol Knight, an optional boss who drops a lot of gear.
Dodge his crossbow bolts and magical sword attacks, then try to stun him with big hits from your own weapons. When you take him down, you’ll get his weapon, Greatsword of Solitude, and his entire armor set.
For help in defeating this boss, see our guide on how to beat Blackgaol Knight.
Ghostflame Dragon
You’ll find a giant lake east of Belurat and in the northernmost part of Gravesite Plain. If you get too close to the middle, you’ll wake what looks like a big pile of debris: the Ghostflame Dragon.
Once the dragon is up, it’ll start to chase you. Stay on Torrent and swing at its legs until it dies. Just be careful of its ghostly fire. When you kill it, you’ll get a dragon heart and a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.
Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze
Near the lake with the Ghostflame Dragon, you’ll find the entrance to Belurat Gaol, a short dungeon that takes place under Belurat.
Adventure through and you’ll eventually run into Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze, who is waiting past a fog wall. He is rather small, and doesn’t have much health. When you kill him, you’ll get the Demi-Human Swordsman Yosh summon.
Logur, the Beast Claw
Logur is potentially the first boss-like character you’ll see in Shadow of the Erdtree.
You can find him in the forest to the east of your first site of grace in the Shadow Realm. Jump on Torrent and ride through the woods until he attacks you.
Logur is very fast and aggressive, and will push you back with his claws. He also has one healing flask. He’ll drop the Beast Claws when you kill him.
Fire Knight Queelign (Invader)
You’ll run into Fire Knight Queelign for the first time in Belurat. You’ll find them in the circular courtyard of the castle town, on the east side after you find the second site of grace.
They’ll attack you with a long, spear-like sword, and they have access to one healing charge. They’ll give you the Crusade Insignia when you defeat them.
Furnace Golem 1
The Gravesite Plain Furnace Golem is standing in the middle of the main field, north of the Scorched Ruins.
Avoid the flame waves from its stomps while wailing on its feet until it falls over, and you can deal a critical hit to its face. When you kill it, you’ll get the Deflecting Hardtear for your Wondrous Physicks and a Furnace Visage.
Ancient Dragon-Man (Invader)
As you progress east along the plateau near Castle Ensis, take the lower path after the site of grace. Keep moving forward and the Ancient Dragon-Man will invade your game. You can dispatch him quickly, but you’ll need to be ready to fight the real version if you keep pushing forward.
You don’t get anything for killing this version of the Ancient Dragon-Man.
Ancient Dragon-Man
Past the Ancient Dragon-Man Invader, head into the Dragon’s Pit dungeon to the east of Castle Ensis. Make your way through the Dragon’s Pit until you reach the giant chalice and pit. Jump down and head through the fog door.
The Ancient Dragon-Man wields a big sword and has a single healing flask. Once you kill him, you’ll get Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana.
Death Knight
In Fog Rift Catacombs — a dungeon west of Castle Ensis — make your way through the smashers to the fog door on the third basement floor. Inside, you’ll face the Death Knight. This enemy wields two lightning axes and lightning javelins. He can also grab you to heal himself, so make sure to dodge his charge attacks.
When you kill him, he’ll drop the Death Knight’s Twin Axes and the Crimson Amber Medallion +3.
Furnace Golem 2
South of the Ellac River Downstream Site of Grace in Gravesite Plain, you’ll find a large wooded area with a river running through it. In the middle of that river you’ll find another Furnace Golem, with unarmored feet.
Kill it to earn a Furnace Visage and the Viridian Hidden Tear for your Physicks.
Chief Bloodfiend
In the Rivermouth Cave, which is under the bridge and upriver in Gravesite Plain, you’ll encounter Chief Bloodfiend and his army of Bloodfiends. Make your way through the cave, fending off some wolves, to find the fog door. Inside you’ll encounter the boss, who just fights like a slightly larger Bloodfiend enemy.
When you defeat the chief, you’ll earn the Bloodfiend Hexer’s Ashes.
Moonrithyll, Carian Knight
As you make your way through Castle Ensis and the outside outposts, you’ll find Moonrithyll guarding the true gate into the fortress.
Moonrithyll acts like a mini-boss or an invader, but is just a humanoid in some armor. They use a big sword — your prize from the fight, the Moonrithyll Knight Sword — and will sling some spells at you on occasion. They have a single healing flask use.
Rellana, Twin Moon Knight
Rellana, Twin Moon Knight, is the final boss of Castle Ensis and the wall between you and Scadu Altus. You’ll encounter her in her massive arena, just past the fog door at the top of Castle Ensis.
Rellana has two phases. She’ll start out with two swords and some light magic attacks before evolving to use heavy magic attacks and flame attacks at half health.
When you defeat her, you’ll earn her Remembrance and be able to proceed into Scadu Altus.
For additional help on this boss, check out our guide on how to beat Rellana, Twin Moon Knight.
Cerulean Coast bosses
The Cerulean Coast is a small but beautiful ocean-side area in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. It’s south of the Gravesite Plain starting area and you can find it by going through the Ellac River. You’ll face several bosses here.
Ghostflame Dragon
Just south of the Cerulean Coast Site of Grace, a Ghostflame Dragon will land to attack you. Swipe at its legs until it falls over and then deal a devastating blow to its head. Unlike other Ghostflame Dragons, this one will have a small skeleton army backing it up.
When you kill the Ghostflame Dragon, you’ll earn a Dragon Heart and a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.
Death Rite Bird
Forward from the Charo’s Hidden Grave Site of Grace, you’ll encounter the Death Rite Bird immediately once you reach the pond. This undead boss will try to inflict you with Frostbite, and also summon all the nearby Gravebirds to try and attack you as well. Carefully take the Gravebirds out first in order to make this fight more manageable.
When you defeat the Death Rite Bird, you’ll earn the Ghostflame Call Ash of War.
Furnace Golem
West of Charo’s Hidden Grave, you’ll find a massive Furnace Golem stomping around. This one has armored feet, so you’ll need to craft multiple Hefty Furnace Pots in order to kill it. Jump up the geyser of air onto the bluff and chuck three Hefty Furnace Pots into its head to take it down.
For killing this Furnace Golem, you’ll earn a Furnace Visage and the Glovewart Crystal Tear.
Dancer of Ranah
In the Southern Nameless Mausoleum, which is on an island that you can reach via an underground cave southeast of the Cerulean Coast, West Site of Grace, you’ll face the Dancer of Ranah.
This is an NPC fight similar to the other Mausoleum fights. The boss fights with two swords and fire magic. She has one healing flask.
When you kill her, you’ll earn the Dancing Blade of Ranah sword and the complete Dancer’s armor set.
Demi-Human Queen Marigga
North of the Cerulean Coast, West Site of Grace, you’ll enter a small grove area. Follow the left path and eventually you’ll find yourself on a beach with one of those massive ships and a bunch of enemies ahead of you. One of those enemies is actually a boss, Demi-Human Queen Marigga. This fight is less about the boss — who can hit you pretty hard if you’re not careful — and more about dealing with all of the enemies at once. Pick them off before focusing on the boss.
When you defeat Demi-Human Queen Marigga, she’ll drop the Star-Lined Sword.
Lamenter
In the Lamenter’s Gaol dungeon in Cerulean Coast, make your way through to the very end by finding the two keys. When you reach the fog door, step inside to face Lamenter. This boss has low health, but likes to clone itself to confuse you. Take each clone down and you’ll eventually find the real one.
When you defeat Lamenter, it’ll drop the Lamenter’s Mask.
Misbegotten Crusader
Most of the way through the Stone Coffin Fissure dungeon in southern Cerulean Coast, you’ll encounter the Misbegotten Crusader, a mini-boss without a nameplate or health bar. You’ll see his ghostly visage as you’re climbing up a ramp, and he’ll jump down on you if you’re not careful.
When you kill him, he’ll drop the Multilayered Ring of Light spell.
Putrescent Knight
The Putrescent Knight is located in the Stone Coffin Fissure dungeon in southern Cerulean Coast. Enter through The Fissure area (after the Great Rune breaks) and continue until you reach the Fissure Depths Site of Grace in order to access the boss.
The Putrescent Knight is a giant skeleton monster riding a horse, and you’ll battle it in a lake of purple goo. When you defeat it, you’ll earn the Remembrance of Putrescence.
For additional help on this boss, check out our guide on how to beat the Putrescent Knight.
Scadu Altus bosses
Scadu Altus is the second major location in Shadow of the Erdtree, and it’s where you’ll fight Messmer the Impaler, the boss that appears on the DLC’s box art. Here’s what we’ve found so far.
Furnace Golem 1
The Furnace Golem in Scadu Altus is just north of the army camp and south of Shadow Keep. It, like the one in Gravesite Plain, has unarmored feet. To kill it, attack the feet until it falls over and then use an execution attack on its face.
When it dies, you’ll get the Crimsonburst Dried Tear for your Crystal Tear Wondrous Physicks and a Furnace Visage.
Fire Knight Queelign (Invader)
The second time you’ll run into Fire Knight Queelign as an Invader is in the Church of the Crusade, which is the church on the west side of Scadu Altus. Walk inside and they’ll show up.
Like the first time, they use flame magic and have one healing flask. Take them out to get the Flame Skewer Ash of War and the Prayer Room Key.
Moore (Invader)
Just north of the Church of the Crusade — which is in the western part of Scadu Altus — you’ll get invaded by Moore. Moore is a small, armored person who attacks with a shield and occasionally throws rot at you.
When you kill them, you’ll get the Verdigris greatshield and armor set.
Black Knight Garrew
Black Knight Garrew is located in the Fog Rift Fort, which is directly south of the Scadu Altus, West Site of Grace. To reach him, you’ll need to go left and carefully jump down the mountain from the site of grace. Then walk through the fort until he comes out to greet you.
Garrew is just a slightly tougher Black Knight enemy type who uses a frog tongue Art of War. When you defeat him, he’ll drop a Black Steel Greatshield.
Ghostflame Dragon
In the southeast of Scadu Altus, you’ll find a small army camp with a Ghostflame Dragon inside. When you approach, it’ll already be in combat with a host of Messmer soldiers and Black Knights. Wait for the dragon to kill all the soldiers before you engage, or you’ll make your life much harder.
When you kill the dragon, you’ll get a dragon heart and a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.
Black Knight Edredd
In the southeastern-most castle of Scadu Altus, Fort of Reprimand, you’ll find Black Knight Edredd on the second level, guarding a staircase to the top of the fort.
While he has a name and a boss health bar, he falls over very quickly. Take him down to earn the Aspect of the Crucible: Wings Ash of War.
Ralva the Great Red Bear
North of the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace in Scadu Altus, on the eastern plateau, you’ll find a small lake. In this lake, you’ll be attacked by Ralva the Great Red Bear.
Ralva is very aggressive, and will attack quickly. Summon your Spirit Ash to distract the bear and then ride around on Torrent to defeat it. When you kill it, it’ll drop the Pelt of Ralva helmet.
Dryleaf Dane
As part of Dryleaf Dane’s questline, you’ll be able to fight him at the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace.
When you defeat him, he’ll drop the Dryleaf Arts fist weapon and Dane’s Hat.
Golden Hippopotamus
Inside the Shadow Keep, which is the giant dungeon in north Scadu Altus, ride up the elevator and rest at the site of grace. When you walk into the next room, you’ll be attacked by the Golden Hippopotamus, a bizarre rhino/wolf/hippo/porcupine monstrosity.
Survive its onslaught and you’ll earn the Aspects of the Crucible: Thorns spell and two Scadutree Fragments.
For help on this boss, see our guide on how to kill the Golden Hippopotamus.
Messmer the Impaler
At the very top of Shadow Keep, you’ll find Messmer’s tower. Inside, you can unlock a new site of grace and open the door to meet the boss who appears on Shadow of the Erdtree box art, Messmer.
After two cool cutscenes and a difficult fight, Messmer will go down and give you his Remembrance and Kindling.
Commander Gaius
Commander Gaius is a knight who rides a massive boar in Shadow of the Erdtree. You can find him north of Shadow Keep in Scadu Altus, in an area called Scaduview. To get there, you’ll need to go through the loft of Shadow Keep and the Specimen Storehouse, which you can get to by way of Bonny Village.
Once you arrive in Commander Gaius’ arena, he will instantly attack you. You can use Torrent to run away from Gaius, but he will kill your mount almost instantly if he hits it.
When you defeat Commander Gaius, you’ll earn the Remembrance of the Wild Board Rider.
For help on this boss, see our guide on how to kill Commander Gaius.
Scadutree Avatar
The Scadutree Avatar is in a pool of Scadutree sap north of Shadow Keep. To reach the boss, you’ll need to go through the flooded Church District — which you can access by way of Bonny Village. Clear out the water and take the elevator down to the Tree-Worship Sanctum Site of Grace.
The Scadutree Avatar doesn’t have much health, but you have to defeat it three times in order to officially kill it. For a leg up, make sure you use an execution move on the face of the sunflower before each phase ends, as it’ll start with less health when it revives.
When you defeat the Scadutree Avatar, you’ll earn the Remembrance of the Shadow Sunflower and Miquella’s Great Rune.
For help on this boss, see our guide on how to kill the Scadutree Avatar.
Tree Sentinels
In the Hinterland area, which is in northeast Scadu Altus and through the secret passageway by the Shadow Keep, Back Gate Site of Grace, you’ll face three Tree Sentinels on your journey east to the Finger Ruins of Dheo.
The first of these Sentinels appears right near the giant pit by the site of grace, and will attack you with a Halberd. You’ll get a Blessing of Marika for defeating it. The next is just a few feet away, just past the pit, and wields a shield. You’ll get another Blessing of Marika for killing it. The third Tree Sentinel will appear if you leave the area and return — even if you don’t rest — but isn’t a boss-level enemy.
Fallingstar Beast
In the Hinterland area, in east Scadu Altus past the hidden Shadow Keep passageway, you’ll come across a giant crater as you move east. If you approach the crater, a Fallingstar Beast will appear and attack you. This enemy is basically a giant horse with a pincer for a head. Stay away from its head and dodge to the side to take it down.
When you kill it, it’ll drop the Gravitational Missile spell.
Swordhand of Night, Anna (Invader)
As part of Count Ymir’s questline, once you reach the third ruin, you’ll get invaded by Swordhand of Night, Anna. She’s a typical NPC villain aside from the rather narrow walkway you have to fight her on, so just watch your footing.
When she dies, she’ll drop the Claws of Night.
Metyr, Mother of Fingers
During the Count Ymir quest, when you activate the Finger Ruins of Miyr under the Cathedral of Manus Metyr, you’ll get sucked into a boss fight with Metyr, Mother of Fingers. This boss is slow and pretty weird. Be careful of getting up close to her, as she’ll poke you with her fingers if you aren’t careful.
When you defeat Metyr, she’ll drop the Remembrance of the Mother of Fingers.
For help on this boss, see our guide on how to beat Metyr, Mother of Fingers.
Swordhand of Night, Jolan (Invader)
During Count Ymir’s quest, after you defeat Metyr, Mother of Finger, interact with Count Ymir’s throne to spawn Swordhand of Night, Jolan as an Invader. Take her out in the cathedral and you’ll be able to find and interact with her body later for a choice between the Sword of Night and a Swordhand of Night Jolan Spirit summon.
Count Ymir, Mother of Fingers
As part of Count Ymir’s quest, after you defeat Metyr and Jolan, Ymir spawns back on his throne and attack you as Count Ymir, Mother of Fingers. Ymir is a magic user, and his spells hit hard. His summons can also overwhelm you if you’re not careful. However, Count Ymir has very little health — a counterbalance for his strengths.
When you finally kill Ymir and end his quest, you’ll earn the Maternal Staff, his entire armor set, and his bell bearing.
Furnace Golem 2
In the Castle Watering Hole area, which you can get to via a hidden sarcophagus in Shadow Keep in Scadu Altus, a Furnace Golem will rise out of the water as you explore the area. Its’ feet are unarmored, so just carefully beat on its legs to take it down.
When it dies, you’ll get a Furnace Visage and the Oil-Soaked Tear for your Physicks.
Furnace Golem 3
In the Castle Watering Hole area, which is only accessible via a hidden path in east Shadow Keep in Scadu Altus, you’ll find the remnants of several dead Furnace Golems. Open your crafting menu and craft a Hefty Furnace Pot. Find the dead golem lying against the Ruins of Unte and climb up on the building next to them. Throw the Hefty Furnace Pot into the top of the Furnace Golem to wake it up.
Once you wake up the Furnace Golem, kill it like normal and smash its unarmored feet. When you kill it, you’ll get a Furnace Visage and the Bloodsucking Cracked Tear for your Physicks.
Greater Potentate
Greater Potentate is an NPC villain that will chase you down and respawn multiple times in the Bonny Village area, which is in east Scadu Altus. You’ll encounter them a few different times as you explore the village and they won’t drop anything when you defeat them.
Furnace Golem 4
East of Bonny Village, in the forest, you’ll find a Furnace Golem with armored feet. To destroy it, craft multiple Hefty Furnace Pots and ride the wind geyser near the boss up to a bluff. From the bluff, throw three Hefty Furnace Pots into its head to kill it.
When it dies, you’ll get the Cerulean-Sapping Cracked Tear for your Physicks and a Furnace Visage.
Curseblade Labirith
The Curseblade Labirith is the final boss of Bonny Gaol, a dungeon to the south of Bonny Village in east Scadu Altus. Progress all the way through the dungeon to reach Curseblade’s fog door. Once you enter, it’ll turn out the lights on you and dash around in the dark.
When you kill Curseblade Labirith, you’ll earn the Curseblade Meera summon.
Rakshasa
In the Eastern Nameless Mausoleum, which is east of the Recluses’ River Downstream Site of Grace, you’ll find Rakshasa waiting for you behind a fog door. Rakshasa wields a Great Katana, and will use her massive blade to strike you from afar and make you bleed. She is susceptible to being knocked down, however, so large weapons will help you here. She has one healing flask charge.
Once you kill her, she’ll drop Rakshasa’s Great Katana and the entire Rakshasa armor set.
Jori, Elder Inquisitor
At the end of the Darklight Catacombs dungeon in southeast Scadu Altus, you’ll face Jori, Elder Inquisitor. Jori is a magic-wielding boss that likes to summon allies to clobber you. The goal here is to chase Jori down as they teleport around the arena and avoid getting hit by its summons. You can also hide behind the tombstones to avoid some of their long range magical attacks.
When you manage to kill Jori, they’ll drop the Barbed Staff-Spear.
Abyssal Woods bosses
The Abyssal Woods is a sunken region on the eastern side of the Shadow Realm, and is filled with horrifying bosses and enemies for you to fight.
Madding Hand
The Madding Hand is a NPC enemy you’ll face just south of the Woodland Trails Site of Grace in the Abyssal Woods. From the site of grace, head deeper into the woods, to your left, and you’ll find the Madding Hand walking toward you.
Kill the Madding Hand and it’ll drop the Madding Hand weapon.
Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame
Deep in the Abyssal Woods, in a location called Midra’s Manse, you’ll find Midra by throwing a few levers and destroying some secret barriers. Once you arrive in his boss arena, you’ll need to kill his impaled, humanoid form to transform him into the boss. He will then ascend to Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame.
For defeating Midra, you’ll earn the Remembrance of the Lord of Frenzied Flame.
Jagged Peak bosses
Jagged Peak is a mini-region to the east of Scadu Altus and Gravesite Plain. It’s a massive mountain filled with dragons and difficult terrain. Here’s what we’ve found so far.
Jagged Peak Drake
The first Jagged Peak Drake in Jagged Peak is right after you exit Dragon’s Pit dungeon. Head forward into the water. You’ll see a bunch of dragon corpses and a sleeping dragon in the middle of the lake. Attack it to start the fight.
The Jagged Peak Drake uses fire and lightning. Fight it on Torrent and keep attacking the legs. When you kill it, you’ll get a dragon heart and Dragonscale Flesh.
Dueling Jagged Peak Drakes
Just after the Foot of the Jagged Peak Site of Grace, which is up the mountain path in Jagged Peak, you’ll come across a Jagged Peak Drake battling another Jagged Peak Drake. You can jump in there to fight them both, but you’re better off waiting off to the side for one to kill the other. Once a victor has emerged, take on the remaining Jagged Peak Drake to clear this boss fight.
For defeating the Dueling Jagged Peak Drakes, you’ll earn a Dragon Heart and some Dragonscale Flesh.
Ancient Dragon Senessax
Up the path from the Foot of the Jagged Peak Site of Grace, past where you fight the Dueling Jagged Peak Drakes, you’ll come across Ancient Dragon Senessax sleeping in a cave. Senessax is a large dragon that shoots red lightning at you. Ride around on Torrent and slash at its tail to deal some relatively safe damage.
When you kill it, you’ll earn an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone and a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.
Bayle the Dread
To reach the Bayle the Dread boss fight, ride up the only path on Jagged Peak, past the Dueling Jagged Peak Drakes, past Senessax, and past the lightning storm. Eventually you’ll make it to the Jagged Peak Summit Site of Grace, which is right before Bayle’s boss fight arena.
Bayle is a tough fight made easier with the help of Igon, a NPC who you can use to fight alongside you (and earn some extra loot). When you finally kill Bayle, you’ll earn the Heart of Bayle.
For help on this boss, see our guide on how to beat the Bayle the Dread.
Ancient Ruins of Rauh bosses
The Ancient Ruins of Rauh is the final area in Shadow of the Erdtree, and hosts some of the game’s toughest boss fights.
Red Bear
In the Northern Nameless Mausoleum, you’ll face the Red Bear boss, which is actually just a humanoid NPC. To reach the Northern Nameless Mausoleum, ride toward the Temple Town Ruins in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh area. Before you get there, on your left, break the Spiritspring seal and ride it up to the cliff above. At the top, you’ll find the Northern Nameless Mausoleum. Walk inside to face the Red Bear.
Once you defeat them, the Red Bear will drop the Red Bear’s Claw, the Fang Helm, and the Iron Riven armor set.
Rugalea the Great Red Bear
Rugalea the Great Red Bear is another Runebear boss, and you can find them wandering around the wood in the western bottom-half of the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. When you find them, carefully take them out while avoiding their shockwave attacks.
When you kill Rugalea, it’ll drop the Roar of Rugalea spell.
Death Knight
The Death Knight of the Ancient Ruins of Rauh is in the Scorpion River Catacombs, which is in the western woods of the area. Make your way through the dungeon and you’ll face the Death Knight on the other side of a fog door. Like other Death Knights, they can heal themselves to full if they grab you, so be careful.
When you kill the Death Knight it’ll drop the Death Knight’s Longhaft Axe and the Cerulean Amber Medallion +3.
Devonia, Crucible Knight
Devonia is a NPC boss without a name plate or a health bar, but they warrant inclusion here as they’re a pretty tough gate into the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. From Shadow Keep, progress through the ancient ruins until you finally find your way back outside by the Rauh Ancient Ruins, East Site of Grace. Standing on a rock, blocking your path, will be Devonia.
This mini-boss hits very hard with their big hammer, and can also transform their body into a few different shapes to attack you.
When you finally kill them, they’ll drop Devonia’s Hammer and the Crucible Hammer-Helm.
Furnace Golem
Across the bridge from the Rauh Ancient Ruins, East Site of Grace, you’ll find a Furnace Golem stomping around and making it difficult for you to cross. Carefully jump across the bridge to face down the golem, who has unarmored feet but a lot of health. When you destroy it, you’ll earn a Furnace Visage and the Crimson-Sapping Cracked Tear.
Divine Beast Dancing Lion
Take the back path in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh area to find an elevator leading up to the Grand Staircase and its site of grace. Head down the steps and jump the gap, taking out the giant bowman on your way. Look to your right and you’ll find a massive building. Jump over and you’ll find the Divine Beast Dancing Lion prancing around inside.
This version is slightly different from the boss in Belurat, as it can summon additional enemies that spread Deathblight around the arena. Take out the additional enemies when they spawn, and be careful not to linger in their pools.
When you kill this second Divine Beast Dancing Lion, you’ll earn the Divine Beast Tornado spell.
Romina, Saint of the Bud
As you progress through the Ancient Ruins of Rauh and climb through the Scarlett Rot, you’ll eventually come across the Church of the Bud, Main Entrance Site of Grace. Just past here, you’ll face Romina, Saint of the Bud, a giant centipede woman who summons butterflies filled with Scarlet Rot.
This fight is hectic, but you can mitigate a lot of her damage by preventing yourself from getting Scarlet Rot via Preserving Boluses or the Immunizing Horn Charm.
Once you defeat Romina, she’ll drop the Remembrance of the Saint of the Bud.
For help in defeating this boss, see our guide on how to beat Romina, Saint of the Bud.
Needle Knight Leda and her allies
The second to last boss in the main story is Needle Knight Leda and her allies, and its makeup depends heavily on what NPC quests you’ve done
As you’re progressing up Enir-Ilim, just past the Cleansing Chamber Anteroom Site of Grace, you’ll encounter Needle Knight Leda. She will challenge you and tell you not to proceed.
When Leda disappears, you’ll see a red summon marker in the middle of the floor. Any allies you might have, such as Sir Ansbach and Thiollier, will appear as gold summon symbols that you can activate before the fight.
Once you activate Leda’s symbol, you’ll enter into the arena and enemies will appear one by one. Depending on what quests you’ve done, Leda can summon Redmane Freyja, Hornsent, Dryleaf Dane, and Moore. Defeat them all and you’ll be able to plunder items from each foe, including Leda’s sword.
Promised Consort Radahn and Miquella
At the very top of Enir-Ilim, just after the Divine Gate Front Staircase Site of Grace, you’ll face the final boss of the expansion: Promised Consort Radahn. This is a different version from the Radahn you had to fight to get into the Shadow Lands. Gone is the tiny, charming horse he used to ride and the army you could summon to fight him. This version of Radahn — and Miquella, his puppet master — mean business.
When you finally manage to fell Radahn in his Radahn, Consort of Miquella phase, he’ll drop the Remembrance of a God and a Lord and you’ll have beaten Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. Congratulations!
