She’s pretty in clink!
TikToker Natalie Violette has garnered more than 3 million followers by executing wacky makeup challenges submitted by viewers and beauty-brand reviewers.
The Connecticut native’s viral bits include a “prison make-up” where she concocts cosmetics from “commissary” products.
She magically employs deodorant and a magazine to create eye shadow and uses red M&Ms for blush, which she then eats.
“In jail, you have to be a little more creative,” the 26-year-old said. “I only know this from research. I’ve never been to jail — yet!”
“I’ve always had a passion for skincare and makeup,” she told The Post. “So it was just a path that I wanted to take.”
For the vids, Violette “did her homework” and studied YouTube clips made by incarcerated women, who shared their behind-bars beauty secrets.
The licensed esthetician previously modeled and began posting fashion outfits on her Instagram story back in 2018, catching the attention of big brands like Forever 21, Fashion Nova and Oh Polly.
In 2020, she started posting on TikTok.
Violette initially uploaded mostly fashion content, but noticed her occasional makeup videos did well.
“So I was like, OK, maybe makeup is going to be my main form of content on this platform,” she recalled.
Her first “challenge” came in 2022 when she did a “full face . . . using my mom’s makeup. From there, the challenge suggestions just came flowing in, and now here we are.”
Violette, who has 218 million likes on TikTok, once wielded a toothbrush to do her face, and recently went “scavenging” for “perfect rock.”
“You would never expect a rock to be a great applicator for makeup, but it really was,” she laughed. “It’s that beauty of nature.”
As a young girl, Violette dreamed of starring on the Disney Channel. Today, it’s all about growing her following and brand, which includes deals with L’Oreal, MAC Cosmetics and Urban Decay.
Her advice to aspiring TikTokers?
“Never give up and don’t be afraid to stray out of your comfort zone. It’s a huge community and everyone can be involved. People just have fun.”
