Selma Blair fans have been left distracted by some curious restaurant-goers in the star’s latest Instagram video.
The Cruel Intentions actress has been sharing snippets from her trip to Paris on the social network, including a stop at a French eatery on Thursday.
The 51-year-old wore a black and white striped Breton dress and shades to sit outside the cafe. Doing her impression of an “American girl in Paris,” Blair pretended to rapidly chug an espresso in the video before bursting into giggles.
She also did her impression of a “fille française”—a “French girl”—sitting with correct posture and demurely sipping her drink.
“Je l’adore ici . Oui oui [I love it here. Yes yes],” Blair wrote alongside the video. However, her behavior caught the eye of the group sitting behind her.
Two men appear to whisper about Blair while glancing towards the camera, as a teenager turns to see what the fuss is about.
The hilarious moment grabbed the attention of the comment section, with one user writing: “The dude in the back lol.”
“The faces of the guests in the background are priceless,” said @zettessart. “So many question marks…”
“Looks like they were talking about her lol for sure,” agreed Daniela Hernandez.
“Are they paid to be extras in this video?” joked @eran463.
“The people behind you are thinking [what the f***] is going on,” wrote @tinkersdaughter43, along with the laughing face emoji, while Cassandra Lynn joked: “Clearly they don’t know who they are in the presence of.”
Other fans were happy to see Blair looking well, following the Hellboy actress’s public battle with multiple sclerosis. The autoimmune condition causes the immune system to mistakenly attack the brain and nerves, with symptoms including fatigue, vision problems, numbness or tingling, and difficulty walking.
Blair was first diagnosed with MS in 2018, with the condition forcing her to leave Dancing with the Stars early in 2022. However, in January she posted a positive update to Instagram, announcing that she was in remission from the disease.
“Looking fabulous,” commented Michele Rizzo-Labbate.
“I am happy that you are doing better!” said @msbenefiztrier.
“Can’t love this enough,” wrote @goldieparis_jewellery.
“You are adorable,” said Franca Raco. “Enjoy, [you’re] so deserving of lots of fun.”
The People’s Choice Award winner appears to be in the capital for Paris Fashion Week, which began on Tuesday and runs until Sunday, June 23.
Alongside her stop at the Parisian cafe, Blair also gave her 3.2 million Instagram followers a brief tour of her hotel room and accompanying balcony.
“Bonjour!” she captioned the clip, which she shared to her Stories on Thursday.
