EXCLUSIVE: AnnaLynne McCord (90210) has a start date for Days of Our Lives and she may — or may not! — be assuming a very crucial role on the Peacock drama.
On June 19, a mystery woman will arrive in Salem. At first, it’s assumed that the character of Abigail Devereaux — who was previously portrayed by Kate Mansi, Marci Miller and Ashley Benson — is back in town.
So is McCord that woman?
A little backstory for the uninitiated: Miller was last seen as Abigail in 2022. Before that, Mansi played the character until 2020. Benson also had a turn from 2004-07.
For now, DOOL isn’t saying for sure if McCord is truly taking over the part.
In December, McCord signed a one-year contract to join Peacock‘s Days of Our Lives.
McCord played Naomi Clark on the CW’s 90210 from 2008 to 2013. Her other credits include The Night Shift, Secrets and Lies, Let’s Get Physical, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. She is repped by Innovative Artists, Vault Entertainment and Yorn, Levine.
In 2023, DOOL was picked up for an additional two seasons by Peacock, where it has consistently been a top 10 title since it moved to the streamer last year. The renewal will take the daytime sudser through its 60th season.
