The iPhone maker is reported to be planning integrate advanced AI features directly into iOS, enhancing the user experience and potentially setting new industry standards.

These AI features are set to be introduced on iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS 15, meaning they will be available on iPhone, iPad and Macs.
This model is designed to run on-device, leveraging the iPhone’s hardware to deliver AI functionalities without relying on cloud servers. This approach aims to enhance privacy and performance. All computations will be handled locally on the device, according to reports.
Apple’s AI will initially focus on improving existing features like Siri, which has lagged behind competitors like Google’s Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa. The generative AI capabilities are expected to make Siri more intuitive and contextually aware, addressing long-standing user frustrations with its performance.
