EXCLUSIVE: The Haunting of Hill House actor Henry Thomas is joining the ESX Entertainment produced horror movie The Necklace, Deadline hears.
The E.T. actor joins a booming ensemble in the Juan Pablo Arias Muñoz directed movie that includes sisters Madeleine & Violet McGraw (respectively from M3GAN and The Black Phone), Sarah Lind, Felix Solis, Jacob Moran, Christina Moore and Brynne Kurland.
John Ducey (A Hollywood Christmas, That’s Amor) wrote the screenplay.
The feature project follows the Davis family who navigate through tough times in 1960. Laura Davis has separated from her husband Frank due to his unpredictable temper, fueled by alcohol. As Laura returns to work as a nurse, her daughters, 11-year-old Ellen (Violet McGraw) and 16-year-old Judy (Madeleine McGraw), grapple with the changes in their family dynamics. The plot thickens when Frank attempts to win Laura back with a beautiful antique necklace, which turns out to be a conduit for the tormented soul of an evil boy from long ago, putting Laura and her daughters in grave danger.
Daniel Aspromonte and Christina Moore is producing The Necklace, with Violet McGraw, Madeleine McGraw, Jackie McGraw, and ESX Entertainment’s Ali Afshar serving as EPs.
The Paradigm, Iphenate, Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher repped actor has starred in miniseries such as Netflix’s The Fall of the House of Usher and The Haunting of Bly Manor, CW’s Stargirl and the movies Legends of the Fall, Gangs of New York and Doctor Sleep.
