Due to ongoing cast tensions, Bravo has axed the reunion special for Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
An insider told People that there will be no traditional reunion of the cast for the new season of the show, which premiered on May 5th, for the first time in the show’s history.
“A reunion is meant to have resolution and it’s clear in the season final that there is no path forward in that type of setting,” said the source. “So the network is figuring out a different concept to wrap up the season.”
Although drama between the cast makes reality television shows so entertaining to watch, RHONJ has had longstanding issues, with BravoCon hosting split panels to divide the group for the past two years.
The “Housewives” of RHONJ currently include Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda, Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler.
Sneak peeks of the new season have showcased the continuing feud between Giudice and Fuda and her husband. Theresa is also on the outs with Melissa and Margaret, for different reasons.
Aydin and Cabral were also reportedly suspended from filming in 2023 after they were involved in an on-set altercation.
RHONJ was the fourth installment in the Real Housewives franchise back in 2009 and is still one of its most popular to this day. New episodes air on Bravo every Sunday and are available for next-day streaming on Peacock.
The series has given rise to two spin-off shows, Manzo’d with Children and Teresa Checks In.
