Pokémon Go is hosting its yearly “Sustainability Week” event, incentivizing players to walk around and go green from April 22-26.
The event this year is a little peculiar, as there are no specific boosted spawns to go with it. There are, however, quite a few bonuses running during the event period, focusing on your buddy Pokémon.
Buddies will bring presents and souvenirs more often, and they’ll stay on the map walking alongside you for longer after you feed them. They’ll also earn hearts from walking twice as fast.
Notably, Combee, Drilbur, Trubbish, Foongus, and Binacle hatched from eggs obtained during the event will also have a higher chance to be shiny.
Below we list out the other event perks that are part of Pokémon Go’s “Sustainability Week” event.
