Another Bravo couple is heading to Splitsville. According to court filings obtained by Page Six, Alexia Nepola‘s husband Todd Nepola has filed for divorce after two years of marriage.
Todd reportedly claimed his marriage to the Real Housewives of Miami star was “irretrievably broken” in the documents. The estranged couple signed a prenuptial agreement days before they got married in December 2021; however, the details have not been disclosed.
Decider has reached out to Alexia’s reps for comment, but did not hear by the time of publication.
Alexia and Todd first began dating in 2019. During their engagement, tragedy struck when Alexia’s mother died of COVID-19 on what was supposed to be their wedding day, forcing them to reschedule the ceremony and ultimately elope in St. Barths. They later held a luxurious celebration on a yacht, which was documented in RHOM Season 5.
The show’s most recent season, however, began to peel back the layers on their relationship. Alexia’s frenemy and co-star Adriana de Moura implied there was trouble in paradise between the now former lovebirds — and that their financial situation might have had something to do with it — after getting some unconfirmed gossip from former star Ana Quincoces.
However, Alexia vehemently denied the rumors, insisting that she and Todd were happily in love. Regarding the hasty move out of their apartment, Alexia said it was because the building was sold — not because of any financial troubles.
The longtime reality star further shut down de Moura’s claims while speaking to DECIDER back in January.
“Obviously, everything is a lie,” she said at the time. “Like, her pattern is lying. She’s a coward, also, because she had to bring Ana to be her mouthpiece. So she’s a coward and a liar.”
Alexia even suggested that de Moura was jealous of her relationship with Todd.
“I think she likes a Gringo,” she speculated. “She likes his look and she thinks he’s super hot and she can’t imagine how I can have a guy and she’s miserable by herself.”
