Former President Donald Trump claimed that Iran’s attack on Israel wouldn’t have been possible if he were still in the White House.
“ISRAEL IS UNDER ATTACK! This should never have been allowed to happen – This would NEVER have happened if I were President!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The post was the first the former president shared following news of the Saturday night attack, and was peppered between notices about his upcoming rally in Pennsylvania.

Trump also alleged that President Biden taped an address regarding the Iran attack, but that his “handlers” decided against releasing it after seeing Trump’s scathing posts.
“HE’LL NOW ATTEMPT TO DO IT LIVE, PROBABLY TOMORROW. HE DOESN’T WANT TO LEAVE HIS HOUSE, WITH THE CORVETTE, IN DELAWARE!!!” Trump tweeted.
Biden had been enjoying a beach weekend at his Rehoboth Beach, Del. home when he was called back to the White House Saturday in anticipation of Iran’s strike.
