An anti-Israel protester was arrested for making death threats against lawmakers at a Bakersfield, Calif., city council meeting.
During the forum’s public comments section, protester Riddhi Patel, who identifies as non-binary, threatened to “murder” Mayor Karen Goh and council members over the decision to install metal detectors at City Hall amid anti-Israel demonstrations.
“You guys want to criminalize us with metal detectors? We’ll see you at your house, we’ll murder you,” Patel seethed, KGET reported.
Patel, 28, also lashed out at the lawmakers for refusing to support a ceasefire resolution over Israel’s war with Hamas.
“You guys are all horrible human beings and Jesus probably would have killed you himself. I hope one day somebody brings the guillotine and kills all you motherf—-rs!” Patel roared, according to Bakersfieldnow.com.
After speaking, Goh told Patel the harrowing rhetoric was “a threat” and had police escort them out of the chambers.
Cops arrested and charged Patel with 18 counts of making terroristic threats and threatening state officials, inmate booking records show.
They are currently being held on $1 million bail.
