Fallout joins the long list of popular video games that have recently received TV series adaptations. The Last of Us, Twisted Metal, and Halo are a few. When is this new post-apocalyptic drama premiering?
Created by Westworld duo Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the series follows a group of survivors as they leave their bunkers roughly 200 years after a nuclear disaster.
The survivors come from different backgrounds and experiences. There’s Lucy (Ella Purnell), an optimistic young woman raised in an underground community called the Vault, Maximus (Aaron Moten), a vengeful solider for a militant group, and the Ghoul (Walton Goggins), a ruthless bounty hunter.
The show also stars Kyle MacLachlan, Sarita Choudhury, Dale Dickey, and Zach Cherry.
The Fallout video game came out in 1997 and has since released four games and seven spin-offs. There is a fifth game in the works.
