Rebel Wilson once suffered an aca-embarrassing bathroom emergency. While appearing on Monday night’s (April 8) episode of Watch What Happens Live, the Pitch Perfect star recalled the time she “crapp[ed] on someone’s lawn.”
Wilson stopped by the Bravo Clubhouse to promote her new memoir Rebel Rising, which came out on April 2. But just when it seemed like the tough questions were over, host Andy Cohen asked about the time she used a random person’s garden as her bathroom.
“So glad you brought it up,” Wilson reluctantly said. “So basically I had eaten a whole pizza and went on a hike and really had to go to the bathroom in Los Feliz.”
She continued, “When I had to go to the toilet on someone’s front garden, after being in the movie Bridesmaids which was quite successful, I was like, ‘What do I say if anyone sees me?’”
The actress was referring to the hilarious Bridesmaids scene in which Maya Rudolph‘s character unloads in the middle of the street after she and the rest of her bridal party get food poisoning while trying on dresses for her wedding.
“It was just a pure, pure emergency,” Wilson recalled of her own incident. “But really I was gonna scream out, ‘I’m pregnant! I’m pregnant!’ if somebody came out of the house.”
Co-guest Alison Brie said she understood the logic behind the star’s thought process, while Wilson added that there was “not really” a place to take cover if anyone were to come outside.
“There was just a little shrub. A guy pulls up in a car right in front. And I’m just like, ‘If this is his house, he’s gonna see me.’ And luckily, he went the other way,” she said. “But yeah it was just really embarrassing and I won’t do it again.”
Cohen then concluded, “But again, if you have to, no shame.”
