Cole Brings Plenty, an actor who appeared in Paramount+’s 1923, has died at the age of 27.
Brings Plenty was the nephew of Yellowstone star Mo Brings Plenty.
“On April 5, 2024, at approximately 11:45 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the area of the 200th and Homestead Lane in reference to an unoccupied vehicle,” the Johnson County (Kansas) Sheriff’s Office said Friday.
“Deputies checked the area and discovered a deceased male in a wooded area away from the vehicle. The deceased male has been identified as Cole Brings Plenty, 27,” it added. “Investigations, Crime Scene Investigators and the Medical Examiner are on scene. This investigation is ongoing.”
His cause of death is unconfirmed.
Cole Brings Plenty played Pete Plenty Clouds in two episodes of the Yellowstone spinoff series. He also appeared in docudrama Into the Wild Frontier and The Tall Tales of Jim Bridger.
He had previously gone missing after being wanted by the Lawrence Police Department on allegations of domestic violence.
Mo Brings Plenty and fellow Yellowstone star Cole Hauser had posted on Instagram earlier this week asking for people to help find him.
