John Travolta paid tribute to Kirstie Alley on Monday following the news of her tragic death at the age of 71.

“Kirstie was one of the most special relationships I’ve ever had,” Travolta, 68, wrote on Instagram. “I love you Kirstie. I know we will see each other again.”

The actor — who also lost his wife, Kelly Preston, to cancer back in 2020 — followed up his tribute with a clip from “Look Who’s Talking” where he and Alley danced and shared a kiss.

Just minutes before, Alley’s two children — son William “True” Stevenson, 30, and daughter Lillie Price Stevenson, 28 — announced that their mother had “passed away after a battle with cancer, only recently discovered.”

“She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength, leaving us with a certainty of her never-ending joy of living and whatever adventures lie ahead,” the statement read.

Alley, who shared her children with ex-husband Parker Stevenson, was described as an “incredible, fierce and loving mother.”

“Our mother’s zest and passion for life, her children, grandchildren and her many animals, not to mention her eternal joy of creating, were unparalleled and leave us inspired to live life to the fullest just as she did.”

Following the news of her death, other stars took to social media to send Alley’s family their best.

“This is such sad news. A beautiful, brave, funny and beloved woman. Rest in Peace, Kirstie Alley,” Megyn Kelly tweeted alongside the family’s original statement.

“So sad about Kirstie Alley. She was so sweet. Sending love to her family. ,” added Candace Owens.

Alley rose to fame in 1987 playing Rebecca Howe in the sitcom “Cheers.” She won an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe in 1991 for her role in the hit NBC show.
